Yes, it is true my fifth sibling has come into the world and I got to see it all! Aside from the fact I was rudely awakened at 4:30 AM, I think it was nice to admire what my mother can do and what I have the ability to do AFTER I get married. Though you guys might not know, I’m the oldest of six children, five girls and one boy. Here is the list of pros and cons of seeing my sister’s birth:
- Seeing my sister first.
- Enjoying this creation God has made
- Bragging rights for all eternity(Hehehe!)
- Waking up so early
- As a result of waking up so early, I accidentally fell asleep in church.(Not for the whole service.)
- Having to leave the hospital, go home, change my clothes, and rush back out the door to get to church on time.
However, evaluating all this I think the pros definitely out weighs the cons.
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.(Psalm 139:13-16)
